Jet Card Winter Ops Checklist (2026 Season)

Jet card holders have the smoothest winter travel because we’ve already locked in aircraft availability, crew schedules, and shelter for the jets. If you’re planning ski weekends, holiday trips, or last-minute escapes between December and March, use this Concord checklist to get the most value from your hours.

1. Pre-book peak slots

Submit tentative dates as soon as you know them. With a Concord jet card, we can reserve holiday slots (Thanksgiving, Christmas week, Presidents’ Day) the moment they open, then adjust departure times later without losing priority. On-demand flyers often get bumped to odd slots or alternative airports.

2. Share passenger manifests early

Send passport details, pet paperwork, and special requests (ski racks, baby gear, medical equipment) at least 72 hours out. We preload everything into the flight release so there are no last-minute security or weight surprises.

3. Plan for deicing

Deicing fees run $2,500–$4,000 for midsize/heavy jets. Jet card contracts can absorb or discount these charges depending on your plan. Ask us to apply the included credits or add them to your hour balance so you aren’t hit with unexpected invoices.

4. Stage alternates

Mountain airports like ASE, EGE, TVL, and MMH often go IFR-only or restrict arrivals after dusk. We pre-approve alternates (Rifle, Grand Junction, Eagle, Reno) and arrange helicopter/SUV connections. Jet card clients get priority helicopter blocks so you still reach the resort on time.

5. Fuel-stop strategy

Cold weather lowers aircraft performance. If your mission pushes range limits (e.g., Miami → Vail on a midsize), we’ll recommend a short fuel stop in Wichita or Denver to maintain payload and prevent holdover delays. Because your hours are prepaid, you never pay extra reposition fees.

6. Cabin experience upgrades

  • Menus: Seasonal catering (hot soups, fondue boards, caviar service) is included on Signature and Elite jet cards.
  • Wardrobe prep: Heated cabin staging ensures coats and boots are warm on arrival.
  • Gear handling: Dedicated ramp teams for skis, snowboards, or medical equipment.

7. Communication protocol

Card members receive priority notifications via SMS/email plus a direct operations contact. We recommend looping assistants or family members into the notification list so everyone knows when to depart the chalet or leave the office.

8. Hour management

Keep at least 5 hours in reserve from December through March. If you’re running low, we can top up your card with bonus hours before the season spikes. That ensures guaranteed aircraft even when the rest of the market is sold out.
